Your Love Is My Cocaine
I may not be crazy
but I'm borderline insane
even though you fucking killed me
you're still stuck on my brain
I can't kill this desire
can't overcome the taste
that I crave once again
it just can't be replaced
no I can't have you
and I don't want your tainted love
so I'll do my best
beat this addiction rise above
gotta kick it
gotta run while I can
gotta find myself
a better guy a real fucking man
gotta shake you while I can
gotta lose you in every way tonight
gotta get myself up out of here
gotta help myself make this shit right
but I'm stuck on you
got no self control
and though I try my best
my heart takes it's toll
on my mind
I lose my
I can't even believe
how much I broke down
how I let you drag
me across the ground
kicking and screaming through the dirt
I didn't think that this would hurt
I never thought it'd end this way
but I'm kinda glad I must say
I don't need trash in my home
I'd rather spend my nights here alone
I didn't ask for much from you
but what I didn't want is what you'd do
piece of gutter filth I don't need you anymore
you can run around and fuck all your little whores
you can't satisfy me, I'ma find someone who can
cos you're a little boy and bitch I need a real man
so Tristan
will you ever grow a pair
will you ever even care
just how much you've sunken

Applewood Avenue: Part One
Chris couldn't help the way he felt. He always felt different. He never had friends; he always had trouble getting to know anyone. He had a secret, one which he hadn't told anyone.
He was sitting alone in the lunchroom, as was usual. Short blond hair, a sweatshirt, jeans, he blended in well. He tried not to stand out; he didn't like to draw attention to himself.
As he sat there a girl made her way across the lunchroom. Chris looked up and noticed her. He had never seen her before.
She must be new, he thought. She approached his table. She had on a dark dress with lots of lace, her jet black hair hung on her shoulders.
"Mind
I wanna believe you, believe you so bad
but the truth is I don't, baby it's so sad
you keep trying
keep keep on lying
but these games are getting old right quick
I wanna talk to you, tell you the truth
while these lies still hold on to their youth
You keep denying
Keep keep on crying
but those fiction tears aren't working tonight
Don't try to play it down you're not the victim here
You'll soon find out the world's not painted quite so clear
you can whine, you can beg, you can plead
get down, down, down on your knees
but you'll never fool me
don't try and use me
don't say a word, say a lie, say a story
get down, down, down on
it's a shame
you go to waste
and you'll never
get a taste
of victory
in love
cos you're off
dreaming of
different things
immoral things
to yourself
so let it sing
your heart it cries
let it free
if it's happy
let it be
don't delude yourself
with wreckless fairytales
if you want to see the truth
just look through the veil
(you've got over your eyes)
come out, come out
of your shell
you're hiding the real you
and it's dragging you to hell
come out, come out
of your room
you're losing the true you
and it brings about your doom
tradgedy
befalls you
every time
that you do
what it is
you think is right
but you'll

You Just Don't Satisfy Me

My rocks don't roll when you are around
You just don't do it for me I don't know how
You can try to change it
Re rearrange it
But you'll find you don't deserve it
If you want it ya gotta earn it
You just don't know
You just don't see
Why it is you
Just don't satisfy me
What I gotta do to make you understand
That I got needs you can't fulfill
And What I gotta say to make you realize
That you're just not a big enough thrill
You just can't shake me shake me
Baby baby Break me break me
Like I need you to to
There's nothing you can do do
Baby can't you see see

wind up my music box
sing a little song
spin a little tale
please sit it won't take too long
listen carefully
talk a little more
take a little bit
please understand this folklore
it's not too hard to tell you
all these stories I knew
of so long ago
so know
every page holds
a little story
a brand new hero
looking for glory
and when you look close
you'll see a new face
discover new things
learn of a new place
it's just so much to take in now
but it's always worth just a look
and if you take the time you'll realize
your past is hidden in the pages of the yearbook
take out your guitar
play a little note
hum a little tune
I wish that I could tell you
it's not my blood that stains the floor
but that's not the story
so I'll keep lying more and more
the truth, it hurts
so I spin so many fairytales
really, it's fake
so I'll keep spinning it 'til it fails
you wanna try into my life but it's no use
you could never handle all my self abuse
so just give in
you're never gonna understand me
like you want to, oh you want to
I'm never gonna fall hard for you
I don't want you, oh don't want you
it's hard enough to love myself
in a world that treats me so cruel
and you want me to love you back
but I never loved you, baby you're such a fool

So, I was organizing and numbering all my lyrics. So each song has its' own number now, and I know how many songs I've written over the years. And the final lyric count?
565
Since 2004, I've written 565 songs! Holy crap! They are all located online in a zip file, which is only available by request. By requesting the link, you are agreeing not to use the lyrics anywhere, and not to redistribute the link elsewhere. All lyrics are copyright 2004-2009 Azaria Magee.
